Textshare Program

The Textshare Program was started back in 2002, and was developed as an alternative to students being unable to afford their textbooks. It was originally a bookstore program, but ASSOU took over the logistical and financial aspects of the program in 2011.

Students can go to the circulation desk of the Hannon Library and reserve books that meet the following criteria for 2 hours of in-library use:
  • Required textbook for an undergraduate course
  • Costs over $100
  • Does not require an activation code (no ebooks)
  • Is not part of a bundle of books or electronic resources

Can't find a book in the library for your course? Let us know! We will make sure it gets there if it meets our criteria.
